Daegwallyeong Snow Festival
The Daegwallyeong Snow Festival, held in Pyeongchang, the main host city for the upcoming PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, invites tourists to a winter wonderland!

The festival will be decorated with giant snow sculptures of the characters and buildings from fairy tales, such as “The Ugly Duckling,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Pinocchio,” “Snow White,” “Aladdin,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Peter Pan,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Hansel and Gretel” and “Cinderella.” After sunset, the snow walls will become screens for media art projections.

There will be traditional music and dance performances, and a demonstration of traditional hunting techniques.

Children will have the chance to sled down some snow and ice slides, too.
