The fields of Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do Province, are blessed with rich soil, clean water and ample sunshine to form the perfect environment for growing high-caliber strawberries. Thus it's no surprise that the Nonsan Strawberry Festival has won the Korea First, World Best Award in the festival category for three straight years. The events at this year's festival (March 20-24) include making strawberry rice cake, Strawberry Cooking Festival with Daddy, and strawberry nail art and face painting. Visitors will also get free samples of Nonsan strawberries to taste.

Take Bus No. 101, 201, 802, 801 or 707 to Hwajisijang (Hwaji Market, 화지시장정류장) Bus Stop. From the bus stop, go straight for 100m to arrive at the Nonsan Stream and Strawberry Field
