The Consulate General donated hand sanitizers donated by the Korean Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to the Long Island State Veterans Home on Monday, December 21, 2020. Korean War Veterans Association New York Chapter President Salvatore Scarlato joined the ceremony. The veterans home’s Executive Director, Mr. Fred Sganga, expressed his appreciation to the Korean government for the continued support for the Korean War veterans amid the global pandemic.​
