On April 11, the Korean Cultural Center in UAE invited the Korea folk song band “bob” to perform live online through the YouTube channel of kcc uae. bob has won the 21C Korean Music Project Silver Award hosted by Gugak TV.

bob is a well-loved folk band playing original music that combines traditional sounds with popular music Named by flipping the word “pop” in a witty manner, the band presents cheerful and highly addictive music that blends intricate instrumentation and properly executed traditional folk music.

Through the main performance, they performed various kinds of Arirang, including Bonjo Arirang and Jeongseon Arirang, and had a time to explain the various region of Arirnag. Also mentioned that Arirang is a representative folk music and cultural heritage of Korea.

In addition, through the song set of "Mysterious Folk Song Dictionary" they performed Korean folk songs Neoliriya and Gyeongbok Palace Taryeong, and introduced folk song features while explaining the contents and meaning of the song.
