Korean Cultural Centre India has announced 3 members in its Taekwondo demonstration team have been selected as the candidates for the Indian national representatives for upcoming ‘6th Asian Poomsae Taekwondo Championship which will be held at Beirut, Lebanon on 14th June by Asian Taekwondo Union. 

The 3 players, Shilpa Thapa(Gold medal at U-30 Female Individual Poomsae), Mamta Kumari Shah(Silver medal at U-30 Female Individual Poomsae), Gaurav Singh(Silver medal at U-30 Male Individual Poomse) got the medals at the selection trial event of Sports Authority of India(SAI) which was held on 16th May through online platform. These members are qualified to participate to 6th Asian Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2021 which will be held at Beirut, Lebanon on 14th June by Asian Taekwondo Union as Indian representatives. The final decision of the selections for Asian Poomsae Taekwondo Championship will be decided by SAI.

These 3 players have been trained by the Korean grand master in Korean Cultural Centre India Taekwondo demonstration team more than 5 years.
