Consul General Won-sam Chang delivered The National Unification Advisory Council Chairman’s Citation Awards to four committee and chapter members of the advisory council at the Consulate on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Sehe Jong Ha (Senior Vice President of The National Unification Advisory Council, New York Chapter), Hyung Koo Kim (Committee of The National Unification Advisory Council, New York Chapter), Shin Ja Kim (Chairperson of the Women’s Subcommittee of The National Unification Advisory Council, New York Chapter), and Jung Hyun Cho (Committee of The National Unification Advisory Council, Philadelphia Chapter) received their citations. 

The citation is awarded to those individuals for their outstanding contribution to achieving peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula by raising awareness of and support for the peaceful reunification on the Korean Peninsula within Korean communities. The National Unification Advisory Council is chaired by the President of the Republic of Korea. 

In addition to the four award recipients, Consul General Won-sam Chang, President of The National Unification Advisory Council (New York Chapter) Ho Yang, President of The National Unification Advisory Council (Philadelphia Chapter) Ko Kwang Han, and officials from the Consulate General attended the event.​
