On Thursday, May 20, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Won Ik Lee, visited the Anatolian Agency. During his visit to the AA, he met with Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager Serdar Karagöz and AA Deputy General Manager and Editor-in-Chief Yusuf Özhan.

Ambassador Lee stated that Turkey is like my 2nd hometown and that South Korea and Turkey should develop bilateral relations and expressed that he expects the support of Anadolu Agency in the development of these relations.

Serdar Karagöz stated that planning the exchange projects that Korean press members will come to Turkey and Turkish press members can go to Korea will increase the interaction between the two countries. He also stated that he likes Korean Food, especially Kimchi. Apart from Korean food, Anadolu Agency is ready to give all kinds of support for the better promotion of Korean cultural content such as TV series and music in Turkey.
