On Wednesday, April 14, local and community leaders in Harlem, NY, gathered to recognize a Korean-American business owner, Ms. Betty Park, for her longstanding contributions to the community. State legislative leaders presented her with a proclamation and a citation at her establishment, Manna’s. The event was jointly hosted by Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and Rev. Robert Rice of Bethel Gospel Assembly Evangelist. About 40 local and community leaders joined the ceremony, including Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, New York State Senator Brian Benjamin, New York State Assemblyman Inez Dickens, and President/CEO of Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce Lloyd Williams. Deputy Consul General Woong Soon Lim also attended the event.
