The Korean Cultural Center of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong and the Korea Tourism Organization Hong Kong co-hosted the 2021 K-POP Dance Contest “CHOOM”- Hong Kong Final on 29th July 2021 at 19:00 (HKT) at sang Chan Sik Yue Auditorium at Hong Kong Baptist University.
10 dance teams ▲Brighten Dance HK ▲Dazzle Dance HK ▲HappinessHK ▲PIRROR ▲S.Jewelous ▲Saga Dance Crew ▲SND DREAM ▲THE NOTCH ▲WISHES(HK) ▲YES OFFICIAL that has passed the online screening process showed off their performance on the stage. Popular choreographer Sunny Wong, Det Dik, Lydia Lau, and Viola Shin from CJ ENM sat as judges.
After the contest, a special K-Quiz was arranged for the audience, and 5 audiences won the prize of voucher coupons for Korean restaurants. Afterwards, all dancers joined the K-Pop Random Play Dance arranged by Hong Kong Joint School Society of Hallyu.
