Inspired by Group of Seven, Canada’s most internationally acknowledged modern art movement, and its topical focus on nature and scenery, this exhibition presents 17 modern scenery paintings from Daegu Art Museum, with the works of three representative artists of Korean modern art: LEE Insung, SEO Dongjin, and JEON Seon Taek. It also includes five rare paintings, recently donated from Lee Kun-hee Collection. Running from September 28th to December 10th, the exhibition is expected to provide an opportunity to appreciate and learn about Korean Modern Art.
