As part of the 2021 Korea Week and in celebration of the 575th Hangeul Day (October 9), the Korean Cultural Centre hosted a Korean Calligraphy class, followed by a calligraphy contest on Friday, October 8th.
Participants from all over Canada, including Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, etc., have joined the event to learn about the history and beauty of Hangeul. The group also learned some practical calligraphy skills to write Korean in their own beautiful and creative ways.
