On October 8th, the 2nd Daesabae Korean Speaking Contest was held online to mark Hangeul Day and National Foundation Day. A total of 12 finalists chose one of the two topics: "What are the areas where Thailand and Korea can cooperate and achieve results?" and "Korean culture that only I didn't know, Korean culture that I want to know," and presented a great presentation for three minutes. We were able to hear a variety of stories, including opinions on media content that can be produced through cooperation between the two countries, as well as unfamiliar Korean culture from the perspective of Thai people, such as fighting fire with fire, folk remedies, doljabi, and Korean dinners. Also, I was able to feel the participants' interest and affection for Korea.
Actor Shin Joo-ah and YouTuber Park Jong-bae from the Hantae idol group hosted this competition, which was broadcast live on the cultural center's Facebook page and watched by many people! I think the 1,004 cheering messages that you left in the comments must have been a big help to the participants.Thank you to everyone who was interested in the  Speaking Contest, and congratulations once again to those who won this speaking contest.
