The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong collaborates with the Yang Won Sun Foundation to host the Hangeul Design Competition 2021 to promote the beauty and excellence of Hangeul among Hong Kong citizens through creative graphic designs.

An exhibition that features designs that fit well with the theme of "Hangeul X Hong Kong" from both professional and general sessions was held in Korean Cultural Center from September 28 to October 8.

Besides, Awards Ceremony was held on October 23 inside KCC. Director Ally Taeyoung Kwak from Yang Won Sun Foundation, Professor Lee Kun-pyo and Dr. Kim Sun-A from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Director Lee from KCC participated in the ceremony to deliver prizes to the winners. Support by Yang Won Sun Foundation, a total of 45,000 HKD prizes and Hangeul related cultural products were given to winners.

Director Lee expressed his gratitude for everyone who participated in the very first Hanegul Design Competition held by KCC this year, and also mentioned that KCC will try its best to further promote Hangeul and Korean language in Hong Kong.
