Enjoy Korean games in 'Squid game' at KCC

By the interactive event ‘O-Jing-Ror(โอ้! จริง หรอ)’


While the Squid Game phenomenon hit the world, people also have a deep interest in childhood games appeared in the series, which were popular in Korea. Therefore, The Korean Cultural Center in Thailand(KCC Thailand) hold the interactive event for Korean games, named ‘O-Jing-Ror(โอ้! จริง หรอ)’ which is from the title of the series in Korean language ‘오징어 게임 (O-Jing-Eo Ge-Im)’ since 8th November. You can enjoy almost all games in the series, such as 'Mugunghwakochipieotsumnida(Red light, green light)', 'Dalgona(Sugar honeycomb)', 'Juldarigi(Tug-of-war)', 'Guseulchigi(Marbles)' and 'Ddakji(Paper tiles)', but without worry to die like the series.




On 8th November at 2pm., there will be the official opening game that various representative people from Korea and Thailand will attend, including H.E. Mr. LEE Wook-heon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, Gen. Bundit Malaiarisoon, President of the Thai Korean War Veterans Association, and living war veterans. Those people aged 20 to 90 play six Korean games like the series, to find the ultimate winner. Also, some Thai games which are similar with Korean ones will also be played together to enhance both countries friendship. The Thai games might be ‘Tee Look Lor (Hit the Wheel)’, ‘Chak-ka-yer (Tug-of-War)’, ‘Mak Keb (Jackstone)’ or else.















There will be special photo place during the event. Participants can try on tracksuit in the Squid game or Hanbok and take a photo.


From Monday to Friday, 3 sessions(10am, 2pm, and 4pm) per day will be operated, and maximum 30 participants per each session can play the game during 70 minutes. To comply with the Covd-19 regulations, only adults(above 18 years) who received Covid-19 vaccines can register. The online registration link will be provided on the
