Events at KCCs abroad

Until Feb 18, 2021 ‘Selected Works’ by Nam June Paik were shown at CINEMA TICK TACK in Antwerp, Belgium.


Nam June Paik was a seminal figure in video art. His video sculptures, installations, performances and single-channel videos encompassed one of the most influential bodies of work in electronic media art. Paik, who is recognized as a visionary artist of the international avant-garde, died in 2006.

Nam June Paik recently had a major retrospective ‘The Future is Now’ at Tate and the Stedelijk Museum.


'Suite 212', a set of electronic collages of New York City, displays various colors, sounds, shapes of images captured from metropolitan areas. Series of videos from Suite 212 deliver social, artistic, political, and aesthetic messages in Paik’s unique playful ways. Nam June Paik’s visual message shall be resonated in this unprecedented pandemic situation, comforting exhausted souls in the world.
