<Dallae's Story> is a fantasy drama dreamed of by a young 'Sallae' amid the strife of war. It is a non-verbal puppet show full of Korean colors. The use of various media such as puppets and objects, plays, mimes, Korean dance, shadow plays, videos, and lighting stands out. Despite being a puppet show as a work, it was a performance that not only children but also adults could watch and enjoy.
<Dallae's Story> is a work of the Korean performance team “Art Stage SAN”, which depicts the Korean War through the eyes of a child. It was a paid performance at the Teatro Kismet Opera, and at that time, 220 people watched the Rome performance and 380 people watched the Bari performance, and it was praised by the audience. Accordingly, the Cultural Center decided to plan this event to introduce it to Korean residents and locals through a performance video screening once again.
The audience said, “It was interesting to see the Korean emotions expressed in various places in the performance video, and it was good to have an opportunity to watch it with family and friends who are interested in Korea” as Lee Gu Dong-seong. Some spectators left the theater with red eyes.
Not only the Italians, but also the Korean Cultural Center opened on Saturday afternoon, giving second-generation Korean students and their parents a chance to enjoy the good performances of Korea.
