Minari, the widely acclaimed movie, has been released in cinemas in Belgium on June 30.

The story talks about a Korean immigrant family in search of the American dream in the 1980s and is a semi-autobiographical film directed by Lee Isaac Chung.

It earned 6 Oscar nominations: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor (Steven Yeun), and Best Supporting Actress (Youn Yuh-jung). By winning the Academy Award for acting Youn Yuh-jung wrote history by becoming the first Korean to do so.
