Five works of leading Korean media artist Lee Lee Nam are displayed on a large LED screen wall in front of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union.
One of these works, Reborn Light, was produced to commemorate the diplomatic ties between Korea and Belgium. The creator got his inspiration for this work from the Korean landscape paintings of Sim Sa Jeong and Gang Se Hwang as well as the work of Belgian’s leading surrealist painter René Magritte. It symbolizes and expresses the friendship and cooperation between Korea and Belgium and even further the links between Korea and Europe.
Four major pieces including Gyeomjae Jeongseon and Cézanne and Kim Hong-do's Mukjukdo (ink Bamboo) of Lee Nam Lee are shown on this media wall.
Lee Lee Nam’s Light Reborn can also be viewed on the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union and social networks.
