The Korean Cultural Center in Brussels held an opening reception in honor of their newest exhibition about Korean Royal Palaces The King Greets His Bride in the presence of the Hanji sculpture artist YANG Mi-young on September 13.

Discover Korean royal culture through diverse artworks such as photos taken by SEO Heun-kang and videos of palaces and their changing images throughout time made by PARK Jong-woo together with the mesmerizing sounds of traditional musical instruments ad the luscious colors of hanbok.

The center piece of this exhibition is a reproduction of King Youngjo and Queen Jeongsun's wedding procession just like it was recorded in the official annals in 450 individuals dolls that are made entirely of hanji (Korean paper) by the artist Yang Mi-young.
