For this video, I tried making some pretty dduk cakes in celebration for Chuseok.
Dduk is rice cake and Chuseok is Korean Thanksgiving.
It’s one of the biggest and most important holidays in Korea when families from near and far come together to share food and give thanks to their ancestors. The holiday usually lasts about three days.
We made two kinds of rice cakes. First is the bojagi cake. Bojagi is Korean wrapping cloth/method. Second is the Korean fall cake. We used colors of the fall to show the fall foliage of Korea.
Hope you all enjoy the video!
