Presentation of the short film series on Korea "K-LAB"

During the Korea Week Cinema 2021 the Korean Cultural Institute presented the short film production project on Korea "K-LAB" produced together with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.

As is well known, the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia is the largest institution in Italy as far as cinema is concerned, as well as being the oldest film school in the world.

For the KCC it was an ambitious and fascinating project that differed from the classic projection of a ready and finished film.

The KCC communicated with the directors of the Film School to provide information and specialists to learn more about the topics of the various short films (Korean cuisine, Taekwondo, Hanji, Webtoon and K-Pop).

At the presentation as well as obviously Maurizio Nichetti who followed the Artistic Direction of the whole project were present the professors Edoardo dell'Acqua and Fabio Morici and obviously the directors who produced the short films for a total of about 100 spectators. The project also had a good response in the press with about 40 issues, also ending up in the Corriere della Sera.

The short film series includes a short film plus an "extra" video explaining the subject matter for a total of 10 videos on the 5 themes concerning Korea which are Hansik (Korean cuisine), Taekwondo, Hanji (the Charter Korea), the Webtoon and K-Pop.
