KCC Thailand introduced Korean culture and tourism by participating in the 'Amazing Thailand Countdown 2022' event hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Tourism Authority of Thailand last month. At the visiting Korean Cultural Center booths held in Chiang Mai and Phuket, Korean play experience zones such as Takchichigi, Tuho, and Jegichagi introduced in the drama 'Squid Game' and a photo zone for hanbok were operated, and many visitors enjoyed it.
At the Phuket Countdown event held on the 31st, coach Choi Young-Seok of Thailand's national Taekwondo team and Thailand's national Taekwondo Poomsae team went on stage to greet the new year and performed a Taekwondo demonstration to K-pop music. It showed a modest Poomsae and a cool breaking demonstration. Afterwards, BTS' cover dance team 'Dice' performed 'Dynamite', 'Butter' and 'Idol' choreography and received a lot of applause.
