From BTS to ‘Baby Shark Dance’: Korea does it again

The Koreans have done it again.

If BTS is currently the world’s most biggest band, the first music video to hit 10 billion views on YouTube also came from the old Hermit Kingdom.

The video is “Baby Shark Dance,” a song-and-dance animated production for kids, produced by Pinkfong, an education brand of the South Korean company SmartStudy.

Ten billion is about three billion more than the world population of about 7.5 billion, according to a United Nations survey.

It’s presumed most kids watch the 81-second video with or without adult supervision.

The song is catchy, its lyrics simple.
