Animation KIMCHI WARRIOR was premiered at Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles. Director Kang Young Man and crew members attended the screening, as well as Hollywood filmmakers and general public.
The Kimchi Warrior is a blend of martial arts and comedy and promotes good health. Based on the premise of Popeye, the Kimchi Warrior obtains supernatural strength by consuming the most popular Korean dish to defend mankind from the world’s most deadly diseases (i.e. The Swine Flu, Mad Cow Disease, Malaria, SARS etc.) Each episode a new “disease character” is summoned by Evil Lord of Disease to wipe out mankind.

Kimchi tasting has followed the screening of the five episodes. Around one hundred attendees enjoyed Kimchi fried rice and rice wine. Food and entertainment made a good combination to promote the unique Korean culture.
