8 episodes of 'K-Food Good Story', which the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand and Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) produced, will be broadcast by Bugaboo.TV, the popular OTT platform in Thailand. Bugaboo.TV, launched in 2012 by Channel 7, has more than 5 million viewers in Thailand.
Each episode of 'K-food Good Story' will be on air every Saturday at 6PM from 26th February, on Bugaboo.TV application. In 'K-food Good Story', various Korean restaurants in Bangkok are introduced with unique story of celebrity guests, such as National Taekwondo team Coach Chatchai Choi, DJ Bookko, Chananporn Rosjan(the descendant of Korean War Veteran and the winner of Miss Thailand Universe 2005), youtuber Jongbae and Maomoy.
Coach Choi tells the story about the owner of Korean restaurant 'Gaborae', former neighbor in Korea, met again in Bangkok and helped each other until the achievement of Tokyo Olympic's gold medal.
Former beauty queen, Chananporn introduces Samgyetang, Ginseng Chicken soup that her grandfather loved to eat at her favorite restaurant 'Doorae', and DJ Bookko, honorary ambassador of Korean culture and tourism, visits the restaurant 'Leega' to introduce the regional food of Busan, one of most popular tourist destination in Korea.
Also, Jennifer Kim talk about Korean Chinese food like Jajangmyeon in 'Bangkok Banjom' in her episode, and Chef Shim, the head chef of Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel cooks special dish using recipe of Korean royal cuisine in his episode.
The Korean Cultural Center will continue to produce the video contents regarding various Korean culture including Korean food and language.
