The Korean Cultural Center Indonesia held an online opening ceremony of the King Sejong Institute on February 8 (Tue), attended by the Director of KCCI, teachers, and students.
The King Sejong Institute of KCCI will hold courses from February 10 to June 10, 2022 and will open two offline classes for the first time since overall online classes due to the spread of COVID-19 in March 2020.
The opening ceremony, which was held prior to the start of the new semester, introduced the Korean language course of King Sejong Institute in detail, while teachers and students greeted each other and conducted orientation for each class. In particular, they also had time to explain strict COVID-19 rules such as antigen tests and transparent mask for the safe progress of offline classes that have resumed for the first time in a long time.
The KCCI plans to continue operating high-quality King Sejong Institute courses in Indonesia to expand Korean language learners, while also making efforts to spread Korean language through holding various Korean language events and contests.
