Quiz-on Korea 2022 Hong Kong
Show and test your knowledge of Korea and Korean culture in 2022's Quiz on Korea Hong Kong. Participate in primary online quizzes to earn Champion titles for K-pop, History, Language, Geography and so on, and compete with other champions in the finals with cash prizes up to 6,000HKD total. Winners will get the chance to fly to Korea and represent Hong Kong in the Global Quiz-on Korea Contest.

Final Round(Hong Kong) Date : 12 June 2022, in KCC(PMQ) (Subject to Change from COVID-19 Restrictions)
[Basic Rules]
1. There are six primary quizzes in total with different themes.
2. The winner of each primary quizzes will become the champion of the quiz. There will be six champions total.
3. Quiz champions who participate in the final rounds will receive a 1,000HKD prize.
4. The final round winners will also receive prizes (First prize 5,000HKD, Second prize 3,000HKD, Thid prize 2,000HKD)
5. The final round champion(first prize) will get the chance to participate in the Global Quiz-on Korea Contest held in Korea.
[Participant Criteria]
1. Hong Kong residents with HKID who are not Korean Nationals
2. The the Hong Kong representative participating in the Global Quiz-on Korea Contest (ordinarily, the final champion) has to be a Hong Kong Permanent Resident currently holding a valid Hong Kong SAR Passport.
3. Participants must be older than 18 on the date of the contest.
4. The hosting organization(Korean Cultural Center) may ask the participants to submit related documents to certify the above criteria, or for other reasons necessary for the contests(transaction of prizes, etc.)
[Primary Quizzes]
1. The primary quizzes will be presented through the Kahoot.it quiz application(online).
2. The application will automatically decide the score for each participants based on the accuracy as well as the speed. The hosting organization will not take responsibility for the participants' internet connection issues.
3. Each primary quizzes will take approximately 30 minutes or less. This is not a time-limited quiz. Everyone participating will be going through the quizzes together at the same pace. The scores will be announced live through the app.
4. All participants must enter their e-mail addresses through the Kahoot app. The email addresses will be used to contact winners and make further arrangements.
5. If a primary quiz champion cannot participate in the final rounds, the rights to participate in the finals and the 1,000HKD primary quiz prize will go to the person with the next highest score.
6. Participants may choose to participate in multiple primary quizzes, but one person can only be one quiz champion. If a person with the highest score in a quiz has already won in another primary quiz, the champion will become the next highest scorer.
[Final Rounds]
1. The final rounds will be a competition with the six champions from the primary quizzes.
2. The final rounds will be held face-to-face at the designated date/time/venue.
3. The details and the rules of the final rounds will be explained during the event to the participants.
4. The final rounds will be recorded, and the recorded quiz show may be shared through the Korean Cultural Center and other official channels to promote Korean culture.
