In April 2022, the Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI) held a special celebration commemorating one of Indonesia's heroes, Raden Ajeng Kartini (R.A. Kartini). The Kartini Day commemoration event by KCCI was held with students and teachers of SMKN 57 South Jakarta on April 21, 2022.

‘Kunjungan KCCI - 안녕! K-Culture ‘Peringatan Hari Kartini’ (KCCI Visit - 안녕! K-Culture ‘Kartini Day Commemoration’) was opened by singing Indonesia and South Korea national anthem, followed by a commemoration song for R.A. Kartini “Ibu Kita Kartini”.

As the highlight of the event, a student representative made a presentation about R.A. Kartini. Meanwhile, KCCI introduced Yu Gwan-sun as one of the female heroes from Korea.

The second session of the event started with a presentation about K-Culture and KCCI, followed by Hanbok experience, Korean traditional games experience (tuho and jegichagi), and K-Snack experience.

Previously, KCCI held the "Lomba Menerjemahkan Surat Kartini “ (Kartini's Letter Translating Contest), from February 3 to March 31, 2022. Winners' works also featured in the event.
