Visit to the Korea Pavilion at the 2022 Venice Biennale

On Wednesday 20 April, the Director Chun Ye Jin of the Korean Cultural Center in Italy was present at the inauguration of the Korea Pavilion at the 2022 Venice Biennale, where she congratulated the artist Yunchul Kim and the representatives of the Arts Council Korea.

The artist explained that the work has as its main theme the gyre and used nanoparticles and optical materials to express the movement and mutual connection with a reference to contemporary society following the coronavirus. Furthermore, the exponents of the Arts Council Korea reported that the exhibition in the Korean pavilion has been selected as among the 7 exhibitions to visit absolutely and that the exhibition is indeed enjoying great success.

Director Chun also met the exhibition curator Vittoria Biasi in Venice who defined the exhibition in the Korean pavilion of the highest level.
