Filipinos capture 5 medals in 2022 World Taekwondo Poomsae

THE Smart/MVP Sports Foundation National Poomsae Taekwondo Team captured five medals, including the gold in the Individual Male -50 class in the recently concluded 2022 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Goyang, South Korea.

The country's lone gold was bagged by Ernesto Guzman Jr. in the Individual Male -50 class as the Filipino jins proved to be a force to reckon with in the tournament participated by 64 countries including Chinese Taipei, Germany, France, USA, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Brazil, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, Poland, Vietnam, Venezuela, Singapore, Denmark, Switzerland, Qatar and host South Korea.
