On April 19th, Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI) held 'Silaturahmi Lintas Budaya: Taekwondo-Pencak Silat' event with the aim to introduce the traditional Korean martial art 'Taekwondo' and the traditional Indonesian martial art 'Pencak Silat'.

In this event, the Taekwondo team led by a local taekwondo teacher and the Pencak Silat team delivered spectacular demos and performances of their own. Along with that, KCCI also apprised the history and story of the spread of both traditional martial arts.

By holding such an event, KCCI hopes this could be a chance for everyone to experience and learn both Korean and Indonesian sports and martial arts.
