Korean Cultural Center in Thailand hosted 2 days of 'Kimchi and Korean Cuisine Cooking Class' at the Bureau of Social Development, Pattaya City, Chonburi Province during May 18-19, 2022. The class was a part of '2022 Vocational Training Project for the Citizens' which is organized by Pattaya City. It offered various subjects which can help citizens' reemployment or business start-up such as Thai massage, nail arts, and recycling craft. The Pattaya City Hall invited the Korean Cultural Center to operate the cooking class for the first time, as recently Kimchi and Korean food have been well-known among Thais and there are more and more Korean restaurants opened in Thailand.
