On April 30, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York partnered with the Korean American Association of Greater Philadelphia to organize a cultural event, “Korea in Philly,” to commemorate the Association’s 50th anniversary and the opening of the Consular Office in Philadelphia. Drawing a crowd of more than two thousand people from the Greater Philadelphia region, the event featured a Hanbok fashion show, Korean traditional dance and Taekwondo performances, a K-pop dance show, and many other related events and booths.
