When asked about their experience Dance Team Scandal from Guwahati had this to say "It is our first time participating in kpop contest as a group. We have worked very hard in such limited time and some members were nervous too. We thought we wont be able to do it with the least time to practice together due to mixed schedules but we are surprised we could pull it off. We had fun and also were very exhausted but overall we are very excited for this journey of ours together as a group. We enjoy each others company and we believe that we may not be perfect but our flaws brings us together as a group and makes us “Scandal”. We consider this as an opportunity to share our love for K-Pop and K-Culture and to put out our talents to each and everyone who are into kpop just as much as we are.We are grateful to Korean Cultural Centre India for their hardwork and the opportunity they have provided for people who love K-Pop in India. Each of us are looking forward to more competitions in future together."
Another dance team H1me from Kohima said "The experience has been both fun and challenging for us as a team. Fun because we get to come together and do what we love and challenging because of the different schedules we have as students. But this has definitely helped us to manage our time better as students and dancers. We appreciate KCCI for putting forward this contest every year and encouraging young talents to come forward to express themselves."
Hwang Il-yong, director of Korean Cultural Centre India says, “2022 is a special year as it marks the 10th anniversary of Korean Cultural Centre India. The All-India K-Pop Contest which has continued since the Korean Cultural Centre opened, is a special event not only for the Cultural Centre but also for all Indian Hallyu fans. I would like to thank all the fans in India who have been growing together over the past 10 years, and especially the local operators who are working hard for the regional qualifiers.”
