A Day in Joseon in the Time of Lady Hyegyeong

Following the conference/spectacle Listen to “Écrits du Silence”, K-VOX and the musicians from the Korea National University of Arts (KNUA) present various forms of song of traditions that go back to this period, in two very different aspects: the “academic” music and the “popular” music.

A great singer Soojung CHAE will be supported by some of the most brilliant students from KNUA. Five singers will take turns to offer you a panorama of multiple voices of Joseon. This concert will be presented in the form of an immersion in the Joseon period; comedian Benjamin Bertocchi will guide you through this journey back to the days of Lady Hyegyeong by weaving a fine thread between the different pieces and breathing life into a distant long-ago world.
