The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong hosted the 2022 Quiz-on Korea (Hong Kong) Finals last Sunday, 12th of June. The six finalists, selected from more than a thousand competitors in the primary quizzes, showcased their knowledge about Korea and Korean Culture in the Quiz Contest.

The finalists were selected from the highest scorers from the themed primary quizzes, each earning the title of "Master". Each of the participants were experts in their respective fields (such as history, food, language, k-pop etc.)

After about 60 quizzes about Korea, and a fierce battle for the first place, the "Master of Korean History" Leonard Tso won the first prize with 66.9 points, followed by the "Master of K-Food" Wu Hoi Tung with 64.2 points, and the "Master of Korean Drama/Movies" Ivy Ma with 53 points. Also the special prize sponsored by the Korea Tourism Organization's Hong Kong office was awarded to Shieu Tsz Wang, the "Master of Korean Geography" who won the special Korean Tourism Quiz.

This contest was the third Quiz-on Korea Quiz Contest to be held in Hong Kong for Hong Kong citizens. This year's Quiz-on Korea is even more special because a representative from Hong Kong (one of the prizewinners) will be joining the Quiz-on Korea World Finals to be held in Korea in September this year. The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong wishes the best and the greatest to the world finalist who will represent Hong Kong.
