Events at KCCs abroad





At the invitation of MOME, Byung-Chul Han, a star philosopher of South Korean origin living in Berlin, and is considered to be one of the most significant contemporary thinkers comes to Budapest. Since 2010, he has published more than twenty essays in which he has criticized Western capitalist society and in which he has compiled concepts such as the society of burnout and the society of transparency. The conversation will be moderated by Ádám Dippold (Qubit.hu). Gábor Csordás, a translator who translated many of Byung-Chul Han's works into Hungarian, will also take part in the discussion.

The event is organized by the Goethe Institute of Budapest, the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary and Typotex Publishing.
