On 28 June, 2022, the Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI) held a K-Sports Talkshow with the theme 'Taekwondo Poomsae'. This event was held online through a webinar by presenting Kukkiwon Dispatch Master Kwak Young Min, MPE and Master Carolina, holder of DAN VI Kukkiwon and founder of Nenggala Taekwondo.
The event opened with an explanation session regarding the 5 basic principles of Taekwondo, politeness (예의), integrity (염치), perseverance (인내), self-control (극기), and unwavering spirit (백절불굴). Then participants are invited to understand the basics of poomsae such as understanding, types, classification, to the assessment and types of dobok in poomsae.
On this occasion, demonstrations of poomsae movements were also carried out directly through the camera so that participants get more detailed information about the explanations that have been delivered. Participants then enthusiastically asked various questions in the question and answer session.
Master Kwak Young Min closed the event by reaffirming that Taekwondo is a sport of manners, so that it is the most important thing in learning Taekwondo. It is hoped that this event will deepen the participants' understanding of Taekwondo.
