After practicing for seven weeks, K-Pop Academy 2022 in Indonesia closed with the performance of the academy participants. The performances received a standing ovation from the audience of the event which took place on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Jakarta.

Director Korean Cultural Center Indonesia Kim Yong Woon expressed his admiration for the performances of the participants. "The appearance of this year's K-Pop Academy participants are like K-Pop idols. They have gone through training, and have improved themselves and as a team. We thank the K-Pop Academy participants and also the audience who have appreciated Korean pop music or K-Pop," said Director Kim Yong Woon.

Academy participants perform in four teams. Basic class participants performed dance covers of Red Velvet's “Feel My Rhythm”, Secret Number “DOOMCHITA”, and Stray Kids' “MANIAC.” Meanwhile, Intermediate class participants formed a large team performing a cover medley of “Step Back” (GOT the Beat), “Zoom” ( Jessi), and "That That" (PSY), as well as performing "Gangnam Style" as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of PSY's song.

Penampilan Puncak K-Pop Academy 2022 bak K-Pop Idol

Setelah berlatih selama tujuh minggu, K-Pop Academy 2022 ditutup dengan penampilan peserta akademi. Penampilannya pun mendapatkan sambutan meriah dari penonton acara yang berlangsung secara luring pada hari Sabtu, 23 Juli 2022 di Jakarta.

Direktur Korean Cultural Center Indonesia Kim Yong Woon mengungkapkan rasa kagum terhadap penampilan para peserta. “Penampilan peserta K-Pop Academy tahun ini begitu kompak seperti idola K-Pop. Mereka sudah melewati pelatihan, serta mengalami peningkatan kemampuan diri maupun secara tim. Kami berterima kasih kepada peserta K-Pop Academy dan juga penonton yang telah mengapresiasi musik pop Korea atau K-Pop," kata Direktur Kim Yong Woon.

Peserta akademi tampil dalam empat tim. Peserta kelas Basic melakukan cover Red Velvet “Feel My Rhythm", Secret Number “DOOMCHITA”, dan Stray Kids “MANIAC”. Sementara peserta kelas Intermediate membentuk tim besar menampilkan cover medley “Step Back” (GOT the Beat), “Zoom” (Jessi), dan “That That” (PSY), serta menampilkan "Gangnam Style" secara terpisah sebagai bentuk perayaan 10 tahun lagu milik PSY tersebut.
