Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center in Thailand visited the kitchen of the Korean Restaurant 'Kongju', Pathumwan Princess Hotel on July 27, 2022. 






This was the second consulting session after the first visit on July 4, 2022. On this day, instructor Jung Inkyoung taught various secrets for making delicious Kimchi, such as slicing cabbage, pickling, sauces and broth making. Instructor Jung prepared freshly made kimchi, ripe kimchi, and fully-ripe kimchi, then explained the use of each type of kimchi. Also, she showed how to make side dishes used at the Kongju Restaurant like 'Kong Jaban' or Korean sweet black bean added with grain syrup and soy sauce. 












Lanka Fernando, Director of Food & Beverage, together with his team participated actively, such as tasting kimchi, and expressing his gratitude that this consulting was of great help.
