Mid-Autumn Festival at the Gardens by the Bay
Sat, 27 Aug - Sun, 11 Sep 2022
6.00pm - 10.00pm daily (Light-up from 7pm)

Embassy of the Republic of Korea would like to celebrate upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival with many Singaporeans, and accordingly, since 2020, it has displayed Korean lanterns on Gardens By the Bay to promote Korean culture and strengthen Korea-Singapore friendship.
The theme of this year's Gardens By the Bay Mid-Autumn Festival is Re-union, which aims to commemorate that families and relatives can get together again after enduring difficult times due to COVID-19.
Korean lantern sets "The Colours of Daily Life" is expressing families and friends, depicted as animals, gathering together and enjoying traditional Korean folk games such as Yot-nori(윷놀이) and Kite-flying(연날리기) for the holidays. First displayed at the Seoul Lantern Festival 2021, these lanterns are made of hanji, a traditional handmade paper from Korea. Through this display, we look forward to a joyful daily life in a post-pandemic world. Happy Chuseok(추석)!
Visitors can also experience and learn more on Korean culture through a series of craft-making workshops presented by the Korea Tourism Organization Singapore on 27 and 28 Aug, from 6.20pm to 8.20pm.
