Korean Cultural Center in Thailand and KAKAO WEBTOON will release webtoon based on history about Thai Korean War Veterans on September 24, 2022.
The Korean Cultural Center in Thailand and KAKAO WEBTOON have been preparing the webtoon ‘One day, my favorite K-pop star has disappeared’ (‘어느날, 내가 사랑하는 아이돌 그룹 리더가 사라졌다’ or ‘ข้ามเวลาตามหาเมน’) for 18 months to commemorate the sacrifice of the Thai veterans who sacrificed themselves for freedom and peace in Korea during the Korean War in 1950.
'Pim', a popular female plastic surgeon in Thailand who is a descendant of Korean War Veteran, grows up in difficulty. She passed many obstacles in her life because of her affection on a Korean artist ‘K’, the leader of the K-pop group 'Little Tiger'. Finally, ‘Pim’ achieves success as a plastic surgeon. One day, 'K' disappears from everyone's memory except 'Pim’. Then, Pim goes back in time during Korean War and save ‘K’ who is also a descendant of a veteran. What will happen?
It will be released on September 24, 2022 on KAKAO WEBTOON Thailand's application, website, SNS channels, as well as on the Korean Cultural Center’s website and SNS channels.
