Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye (Director: Keehoung Park) invited Jung-Sook Lee, a master embroiderer, to exhibit “Royal Palace” in the exhibition room on the 4th floor of the Cultural Center from August 23 to August 26.


For this exhibition Hanbok and traditional embroidery, which are unique to Korea, were prepared as works designed by Lee Jeong-sook with a special sensibility and feeling. The exhibition of royal court costumes, which cannot be seen easily, was held at the Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye.


Wonik Lee, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Turkiye, said, “Through the “Royal Palace” exhibition by artist Lee Jung Sook, the beauty of traditional Korean dress, hanbok, and court dress, spread beyond Korea to Turkiye.”


The people who attended the exhibition were very interested in the exhibition.
