The 'K-Pop Cover Dance Festival in Turkiye' hosted by the Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye was held in Ankara.

The final of the 'K-Pop Cover Dance Festival' was held at the MTA Sadrettin Alpan venue. In addition to Ankara and Istanbul, dance groups from various other cities competed fiercely for a chance to participate in the final world competition to be held in Korea in October.

In the contest, group 'Illision' covered Espa's 'Black Mamba' and took first place. Group 'Smile' took second place by covering Twice's 'More & More', and group 'FL4C' took third place by covering ITZY's 'Wanna be'.

After the competition, Park Keehoung, director of the Korean Cultural Center in Turkiye, said, “… In addition to the teams that advanced to the finals, I could feel the passion for K-Pop from all the teams participating in this tournament. I was very moved to see the K-Pop enthusiasm of Hallyu fans today. Thank you so much for loving Korean culture.”

The group 'Illusion', which was selected first in the competition where 15 finalists performed, will represent Turkiye in the world final to be held in Korea in October.
