The Korean Cultural Centre Australia (KCCAU) is delighted to organise CRAFT UP LATE AT KCC consisting of Sewing and Painting Workshops focusing on using hand with Korean Ceramics Exhibition in partnership with the Sydney Craft Week.
1. SEWING WORKSHOP
With this workshop, the participants will learn how to make a reusable and sustainable tea coaster using Korean hand sewing techniques by JOGAKBO (Korean traditional patchwork) artist Taerim Clair Jeon, who will use Korean fabric; Korean ramie and traditional knots. No reservation required, all skill levels welcome. Anyone who wishes to attend can simply walk in anytime during the workshop hours.
2. PAINTING WORKSHOP
Join Sally Soweol Han, children's book author/illustrator of TINY WONDER for a painting workshop. In this 2-hour workshop, Sally will share her knowledge of simple tricks and techniques for capturing the colour and form in a vibrant way suitable for beginners. The participants will take home their artwork in a frame and all materials will be provided. *Adults only, bookings essential.
