Events at KCCs abroad





The Korean Cultural Centre Australia (KCCAU) is delighted to present the 9th Korean Festival in Australia on 8th and 11th of October this year after two years of postponement due to pandemic. This year's festival will meet the Australian audiences on two occasions of concerts in Canberra and Sydney, where UHEESKA and 'Traditional Korean Music and Dance Team' will perform live showcasing traditional music and dance that highlights the vibrant and rich elements of Korean culture.

<ABOUT UHEESKA> 

Consisting of 15 members, UHEESKA creates a unique performing world of their own by merging Jamaican ska music with YEONHEE that represents traditional Koreans' everyday music and performing arts. UHEESKA boasts a wide range of fan base not only in Korea but also in other countries with its boundary crossing style performances, strengthened by traditional Korean elements presented at its best. 


<ABOUT TRADITIONAL KOREAN MUSIC AND DANCE TEAM> 

A group of performers from Korea who have completed at least one area of Korea's National Intangible Cultural Heritage, eg. Jindo Bukchum (Jindo Drum Dance), Gyeongbokgung Taryeong (Gyeongbok Palace folk song), etc..
