On October 2, 2022, Thai-Korean cultural event ‘Annyeong Thailand, Sawasdee Korea’ will be held at Future Park Rangsit Shopping Center. This event is organized by the cooperation between Korean Cultural Center in Thailand and the Ministry of Culture of Thailand.
At the Opening Ceremony, H.E. Mr. Moon Seoung-hyun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand and Mrs. Yuthika Isarangkura Na Ayudhaya, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Culture of Thailand will co-preside.
Participants would meet the magnificent Hanbok Fashion Show. Also, one of the model is an actress who won the 30th Suphannahong National Film Awards for Best Leading Actress, ‘Narilya Gulmongkolpech’ from the movie ‘The Medium (Rang Zong)’, the Thailand-Korea collaborated movie.
The new Thai-Korean idol group 'SEVEN STARS', which features of 7 members those are 3 Korean members and 4 Thai members who have just won the audition programme called 'SEVEN STARS' on Channel 3 in Thailand will also join the event for the both countries' soft power exchange activities.
The B-boy teams ‘M.B.Crew’ and ‘BASEUS’ will also join to perform at this event. ‘M.B.Crew’ or 'Marubadak B-Boy is a highly experienced B-boy crew which had won national and international competitions and they are the band which had shown at the Closing Ceremony of PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games 2018. 'BASEUS' is a newly B-boy crew established in 2021 but they won big competition in Korea 'Jeonju B-Boy Grand Prix 2022'. The both crews will show the creative breaking dance performance using Korean mask dance and popular scenes from the world-known series like 'Squid Game'.
Together with Jeong Ga Ak Hoe (JGAH), a talented Korean traditional music performance team which won many awards in Korea would join in. They had performed attractively in many important events in Korea and abroad. They are appreciated highly for deeply understanding on tradtional music and created attractive contemporary performance.
There will be Thai performance called 'Terdterng' by 'Bundit Pattanasilp Institute which would be Thai traditional dance using Thai traditional instruments that would give make the event more lively. The team would fulfill the Thai-Korean cultural event and show the great cooperation and relationship between Thailand and Korea.
