The Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary presented the gala concert of the Korean National Symphony Orchestra on the occasion of the Foundation day. The concert took place on 30 September 2022 in the Erkel Theatre, Budapest.
The Korea National Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1985, is one of the leading theater orchestras in South Korea, whose activities include ballet and opera in addition to the performance of orchestral works. With its wide repertoire, the Ensemble has created an independent musical world and is a cornerstone of the history of Korean symphonic music. During the evening, one of South Korea's best-known conductors, Chung Chi-Yong, as well as singers Im Sun-Hae (soprano), Kim Jae-Hyung (tenor) and Park Jong-Min (bass) awaited the Hungarian audience.
