The Korean Cultural Center in Brussels is organizing a Buchaechum workshop. 

Buchachum is a dance based on traditional dance moves, the history and the culture of South Pyongan Province, and was created in the 20th century. 

For this dance, the dancers use large fans painted with pink peony blossoms to create various formations.

Everyone is welcome to apply fort his workshop in which you will learn the basic movements of this fan dance and feel the excitement and beauty of Korean traditional dance. You can also challenge yourself to dance in harmony with your team members by making various formations together.

The classes will take place between November 14 and November 24.

The workshop will end with a performance of the students in which they will be able to show what they have learned in front of their family and friends on November 26.

This workshop is free and those interested can apply until November 13, 2022 (midnight).
