Young Hungarian talents shine from workshops to competitions


The Korean Cultural Center in Hungary presented various K-POP Academy programs last October, including the K-POP Academy vocal and dance workshop, a K-POP dance and Hanbok challenge, and the K-POP Contest 2022.

During the summer, the Institute presented K-POP workshops at local festivals such as the Debrecen Campus Festival, the Valley of Arts, and Sziget Festival. Vocal and dance workshops, K-POP challenge with Hanbok, and even a K-pop competition was held by the Korean Cultural Center. A total of 99 people including 42 teams participated in the preliminaries of the K-pop contest. The final round was organized on 29 October with a huge success.

received great applause for singing A Poetry Called You by Taeyeon


      ▲ The 2nd place in the singing category, Adrienn Mogyoróssy, 

who sang Permission to dance by BTS with excellent stage manners, received a great response


▲ Emma Adamik, who sang the song I guess it’s love, won first place,

surprising everyone with her outstanding singing ability at the young age of 16

The second place in the solo dance category was taken by Beta, who covered Twice's Talk that talk, and the third place was taken by Lina, who covered Dreamcatcher's Scream.
